Performance Dashboards
Overview
This dashboard shows how your business is performing across all of your Beeline Enterprise clients connected via the Supplier Network platform, including the requests released to you, the candidates you submitted, the assignments you filled, and how those assignments ended.
The top of the page gives you a single Summary Score and an Activity Summary, followed by a Performance Summary that provides a breakdown of each performance metric. Each metric is compared against the rest of the suppliers in Beeline Enterprise, so you can analyze your performance within the context of the market. Below that, the Performance by Client table breaks the same metrics down for each client you work with.
Filters
The filters that you set at the top of the page are applied to all of your activity and performance metrics. The Benchmarks are only filtered by the Competitive Request Classification filter and are not filtered by client or over time.
Competitive Request Classification
A request is classified as competitive if it was released to multiple (>1) suppliers. A request is classified as non-competitive if it is released to only one supplier or if a candidate is marked as "pre-identified" for the request.
Summary Score
The score and verdict at the top of the page gives you a single read on your overall performance. It is calculated as an average of your six performance metrics.
Each metric is assigned a score of 0 (poor) to 4 (best in class) based on where it sits in the benchmark band described below. The average of the six scores is calculated and converted to a score out of 100%. A metric with no data, or with no benchmark for the selected classification, is left out of the average rather than counted as a zero.
The ring color and the wording of the verdict — for example "Leading Performance" — reflect that "leading" band, using the same five labels and colors as the individual metrics. A higher score means more of your metrics are landing in the higher bands.
Metric Definitions
Performance metrics
Response Rate (higher is better)
Of the requests released to you, the proportion where you submitted at least one candidate. It reflects how often you responded to a released request.
Fill Rate (higher is better)
The number of assignments divided by the number of openings that were released to you.
Submit to Hire Ratio (lower is better)
How many candidates you submit, on average, for each hire. A lower number means fewer candidates are needed to make one hire.
Benchmarks
Each performance metric is scored against the rest of the suppliers in Beeline Enterprise. The following criteria and calculations are used to calculate benchmarks:
-
Percentiles calculated: 10th, 30th, 50th, 70th, and 90th.
-
Time period: percentiles are computed using the past 12 months of data.
-
Filtering: benchmarks are calculated separately for competitive and non-competitive requests, so the comparison always matches the classification you have selected.
-
Low Data Limits: low data limits are applied to each metric separately, and if a supplier does not meet the low data limit for a metric (described below), they are not included in the calculation of that benchmark. Their data is still available to them in the dashboard even if they were excluded from the benchmark calculation.
-
Performance Against the Benchmark: Your value then falls into one of five bands, depending on which percentile it clears. For metrics where a lower number is better — like Submit to Hire Ratio, Days to Fill, or Negative Turnover — the bands are flipped, so a low value earns a top band. Whatever the metric, the best band is always dark green and "Best in class."
Performance bands
- Best in class
-
90th percentile and above — this indicates that your performance is in the top 10% of suppliers
- Leading
-
70th to 90th percentile
- Average
-
30th to 70th percentile
- Lagging
-
10th to 30th percentile
- Poor
-
below the 10th percentile — this indicates that your performance is in the bottom 10% of suppliers
Low Data Warning
A "Low Data Volume" note appears whenever there are too few records included in a calculation based on the filters selected, so you know to read that number with some caution. It does not change how the metric or the Summary Score is calculated — it is only a flag.
The note appears on an individual metric when it is based on fewer than:
-
Response Rate: 10 requests released to you.
-
Fill Rate: 10 assignments.
-
Submit to Hire Ratio: 10 candidates.
-
Hours to 1st Qualified Submit: 10 candidates.
-
Days to Fill: 10 assignments.
-
Negative Turnover: 10 ended assignments.
-
Summary Score: 10 candidates or 10 assignments.
